The Future of Global Debate and Public Policy Challenge
Submitted by Mite Kuzevski on 15 January 2015
Since GDPPC 2013-2014 ended in late June, we received much interest from new and old participants who were looking forward to future editions of the competition. Unfortunately, we regret to announce that we will not be able to continue organizing GDPPC 2014-2015.
We wish for you to know that after three months of dedicated fundraising efforts, we were unable to secure the necessary funding for continuing GDPPC without severely compromising the format and scope of the program.
We want to thank GPPi for all activities, effort and hard work they provided for making GDPPC 2014-2015 happen. Also, we want to announce that the International Debate Education Association will continue the effort to secure funds for GDPPC and hopefully revive it next year.
Thank you all for the wonderful support you have shown towards GDPPC. We are particularly grateful to all our participants, partners and colleagues for a truly meaningful experience over the past years. We hope to stay in touch with many of you and wish you all the best!
